Advisement for Majors in Meteorology or Climatology
Nassau Community College is an excellent place to begin a career in Meteorology or Climatology. At NCC we offer two introductory courses to the field. These are SCI 107 - Meteorology and SCI 108 - Climatology.
These two courses will be taken as a part of a Two-Year Program which will allow a student to earn an AS Degree from Nassau Community College. With the help of
the Meteorology Advisors, students will be able to choose courses that will allow them to finish up their math, physics and liberal arts requirements (Including the SUNY General Education Requirements) that are needed to
transfer into a 4-year university/college and receive a BS degree in Meteorology or Climatology.
